Hello and welcome to my site! In my research I blend my training in human development and social psychology with technology integration. Specifically, I seek to understand how instructional technologies differentially and dynamically interact with the social psychological processes underlying teaching and learning. For example, my dissertation focuses on the ways in which computer-mediated communication (CMC), synchronous and asynchronous interaction, and belongingness affect cooperative learning and student motivation and achievement. While I love technology, I also value getting as far away from it as possible at times. I cherish those precious few days a year that I’m able to depart from the flattest slab of earth known to man and climb a couple mountains. Please use the buttons below to navigate my site.
